At the same time, the City People's Committee also assigned the Border Guard Command and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to strengthen the management of fishing means; coordinate with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to be ready, proactively welcome, receive and work with the EC Inspection Delegation on combating IUU fishing.

If divided by fishing groups, including 202 trawlers; 256 gill nets; 11 fishing boats;191 fishing nets; 102 logistics ships…, with nearly 5,000 employees.

Currently, 100% of fishing vessels have been marked and marked; be granted a certificate of eligibility for food safety; licensed to capture fisheries and install cruise monitoring equipment.
